The Ultimate College Town Concert.
Bearstock is Mercer University’s student-run music festival featuring a day-long line-up of local and state performers and a headlining nighttime concert with nationally recognized acts. The free concert event takes place in Macon’s Tattnall Square Park, across from Mercer’s main campus, where the community is invited and families are welcome.
With the outdoor backdrop of Mercer’s campus spires, Bearstock features a main concert stage for live music and other activities for all ages. Food trucks and art and merchandise vendors are on tap, too.
For more than a decade Mercer University’s student programming board, QuadWorks, has planned and produced Bearstock, named in honor of Mercer’s mascot. Over the years, Bearstock has brought local and widely known artists to Macon for its festivities. Artists like Travis Porter, Switchfoot, MKTO and Waka Flocka Flame have all performed at Bearstock in the past.
The outdoor concert is followed by Bearstock After Dark, a private, ticketed concert for Mercer students and their guests in Hawkins Arena.
